Time for weekend update!

This weekend was one big gluttonous spree of open houses. Saturday I went to Abby's, Reams's, and Pete's. Sunday I was at Andrea's, Julie's, Kate's, and Laura's. At this rate, I will literally be a balloon by the time I get to New York.

As for non-open house activities, I went to Finding Nemo Saturday night with Arns, Merv, and Mel (the ole gang together for the first time in a while!). It was very intense-- much more funny than Monster's Inc, but at the same time, more sad and emotional. I guess it's either one way or the other... extremes or none at all. BTW, question of merit: would you rather live the rest of your life middle of the road or with extremes--like very very down one month, then excessively happy the next?

Saturday afternoon I hung out with Dan (another friend I finally got to talk to again and have missed sorely). We went to the mall and Super Target. At Target, the best store in the whole wide world, we decided how we would decorate our houses. Apparently we have pretty similar tastes, which is tres cool. He likes the soft greens like me. But... he doesn't like red as much. I shall have to convince him of red's merits.

Friday night... I did something. If only I could remember what. Oh! Went to Laura's to watch Blow with Arney and Kyle was there. That made for awkward silences. Then Rick came at around 10:20. We left at around 11:00 (god, I'm becoming old!) and after we left, Laura told me that Rick was talking in his sleep and then when she tried to wake him up, he stood up, said hello, then promptly went back to sleep. Gah, wish I hadn't missed that.

Sunday played tennis for the first time in a couple months at least. It was lovely, got the ole workout. Saw Drew Erie there serving. I had forgotten he played tennis. He's rather good, of course, like his sister.

I think I'm going to go to yoga today after school. I have to... have 19 passes left. And it's good for you.
