Watch out guys, this is going to be a long one.
This last weekend was so long and fast. Saturday I had graduation, then two open houses, then the senior party. Our school really went all out on decorations... they looked great and I actually managed to stay awake the entire time.. from 9-4:30 a.m. and even a bit more after that. We went to Ayesha's afterwards because her plane was leaving 1:30 pm Sunday.
God, Ayesha leaving. I didn't think I would cry, because before, when everyone was all like, omg she's leaving and we're graduating it's so sad, I was just like... eh. But I did. Seeing her go made me go off because I have never seen her cry, and because it was SAD.. no more fun, dramatic Ayesha. So there we were crying, with the boys all holding strong and Lauren taking pictures. And we said goodbye. The beginning of many ends.
After that, Laura, Julia, and I hit NINE open houses. I was sooo freaking full. Good food!! Then we baked choc chip cookies for Mr. Brehmer, our physics teacher who is a total sweetheart. And watched
Strictly Ballroom and
Can't Hardly Wait... we were in the mood for light-heartedness after the emotional drainage.
Today I had a fabulous day. Chilled. Woke up at 10, showered, did NYU stuff, then went to Arney's for lunch. I got Breadbaker tuna sandwich.. yuuuum. We watched TV (I love his house cause he has like 300 channels and all-music video channels) and played poker with candy. Mels came over and played too, but went out soon. We're all amateurs, but I actually had two flushes (!!).
Spur of the moment, we went to see
Down with Love, which was sweet, but awkward. And felt long. Not a good sign. I adored her outfits though. Ate dinner at Outback (got free salmon cause I found a hair in one... eugh). Then chilled at my house watching fourth season of Sex and the City. Jeff finally watched it.. hahaha. I don't think he liked it all that much.. or maybe he just wasn't admitting it. Yes, it must have been the latter.
I miss having a nook.
