I have a new addiction: Strand Books. The actual original store is right near me, so I can just pop on down there. But everyone else, take attention! They have good books at cheap prices. And it's really cool because when I went there, I saw a basket full of manuscripts in the children's section. Curious, I rifled through, and they're unedited manuscripts of current books! Very, very cool.
Another benefit of New York: free concerts. I am going to see Blue Man Group and Dave Matthews for free. Yes, my friends, life is good.
Oh, and I had a lovely girl talk yesterday with Maliha and Joyce. Didn't realize how much I'd missed them until I had one! So much intrigue going on the 3rd floor right now. So much humidity also. If only it would just monsoon and get all this disgusting dampness in the air out of the way.
