15 October 2003
Realized haven't updated in a while and thought I ought to. Usually I update when other people's blogs inspire me; that hasn't happened for a long time.
So here I go. Exciting events: on Sunday, when I ought to have been doing my Supreme Court paper, I was instead surfing Carnegie Hall's website because I had a re-awakening of my love for Yo Yo Ma. Here's the cream of the pie: I'm going to see him, but not only him, but also Joshua Bell, Itzhak Perlman, Bobby McFerrin, and countless other string players in Fiddlefest (Dec 2) for only $15! Also am going to see Ravi Shankar (for those who don't know him, he's Norah Jones's father and more importantly, was a huge influence on the Beatles) Nov. 15! And am going to see Marriage of Figaro tonight at the Met! Gosh, I love this living in NY thing. Arney came this weekend also. We had a lovely time. This coming Friday should prove interesting.
