Oscars tonight!!!!!

Shall I bore you all with my predictions? Yes, I think I shall.

Best Actor: I most certainly hope it is Bill Murray, but unfortunately, I think it'll go to Sean Penn for Mystic River.

Best Supporting Actor: Tim Robbins ought to take this one easily.

Best Actress: Charlize Theron, though who knows? There've been rumours of an upset...

Best Supporting Actress: It would be ever so interesting if Shohreh Aghdashloo won, but according to convention, I believe it'll be Renee Zellweger, she of Cold Mountain fame.

Best Director and Best Picture: Lord of the Rings, Lord of the Rings, Lord of the Rings. I am so hoping the Academy won't be so stuck in their rut as to not award one of the biggest film events since Star Wars.

So excited to see what everyone'll be wearing as well..

I am really really really really really looking forward to Bride and Prejudice, the newest movie from the director of Bend it Like Beckham. It stars Martin Henderson as Mr. Darcy, a very interesting choice--we'll see how it pans out. Apparently Alexis Bledel is in it too? Um, yeah, that's what I thought too.

Ah yes, have budgeted self for next month, so hopefully will be able to rein in spending.
