Okay. Sad news. Are you prepared?
I am not going home to Minnesota July 17-25. You heard it here first. Of course, I will be contacting friends and such to tell them personally because I feel like I am really letting everyone down... but parents said I should stay because now I am taking photography classes and I really shouldn't miss them. I agree, but I hate to agree at the same time. I really would like to go home.
But since I have already asked for the week off, I want to do something July 22-25.. like go to San Juan, Puerto Rico!! Okay, seriously, does anyone want to do it with me? Because I've calculated it out and for those four days of fun, it'll cost $502 with flight and hotel. And the hotel is gorgeous.. it's the Westin Rio Mar Golf Resort and Spa. 4 days, 3 nights. Well, think about it.
Any other ideas for a short trip? Suggestions would be appreciated.

I want to go! Am broke, but if I can ask my dad to generously fund my trip to PR --- I WANNA BE YOUR DATE! :) Weekend of pampering, good eats, beach... yummyyyyy!

love to, but i'm already (probably) going to san francisco and the booming metropolis of billings, montana later this summer. also can't take days off my my glorious job.
I would go, but my probation officer says I can't leave the country until my trial date is set.
Plus, I can't swim, and my sand castle craft is a amateurish at best, so I probably won't be able to do anything besides watching bikini-clad women on the beach all day... hey wait a minute... hmmmm...
NO! No Steven, women lead to money problems, which lead to drugs, which lead to the slammer, and you PROMISED yourself not to go back there after the shiv incident of '01!

Can you email me the price-list that you've worked out for the PR trip. I checked the reservation for the hotel link, it's at least $200 a night.. totally a whooping $800 something for 3 nights.. Anyway, are you getting some type of major discount? Let me know, thanks!

Actually, I heard it from Mel first. And no, I'm not going to Puerto Rico. If you can go to Puerto Rico... why can't you come here? Even just from the 22-25?
