Oh My God.
Katie Leung is the new Cho Chang. Who they cast in this role was somewhat important to me, as Harry Potter is a huge enterprise and whoever they cast for Cho will obviously be crucial to Asians in the future.
And so they choose the girl who goes to an expensive Scottish private school and has a millionaire father. Yeah. She didn't even NEED this role!!!!!! I know, it is not my place to judge blah blah blahbitty blah. Screw that. She already looks spoiled, with her hat pulled down low and talking on her cell.
Hmpfh. I suppose I am more angry than I ought to be because I actually sent in a photo and letter to the casting director years ago and never heard anything back. Lucky people who live in England and can go to casting calls..

Love it (your new site, and not Katie Leung...ugh, how could they? If only we were British, then we should have auditioned)! See now why can't I be that crafty and make a nifty site like yours? Good question, anyways I pride myself on my scrapbooking skills, then again, anyone can do that if they want. Thanks for putting me up for the weekend!
Excuse my ignorance, who is Cho Chang? Lol.. I feel as if I'm missing a big part of pop culture that everyone already knows about. P.S., she's not that pretty, either!

To the author of the above comment: No, there is no being "out of the loop" on this one. Katie is just a rich nobody and is lucky to have been given this part.
To Christine: After I read your post, I just had to find more pics of her, but to no avail. The only ones that come up are of her with that stupid phone. I was also curious about the other new actors in the next film. I can't completely tell from the few pictures up, but I don't think Fleur will be as mezmerising as she is in the book. Plus, that Cedric looks kinda goofy. Whatev. I'm sure the WB and JKRowling will do their best to spruce up the kids for the next film. Tah tah.

Christine, Christine, Christine: Just because you can talk in a British accent and are Chinese doesn't automatically make you a good Cho Chang. You obviously have to be a millionaire and wear a stupid hat too.
Honestly, I want to see a regular picture of her, not a stupid fuzzy orange one where her hat looks like it's eating her face.

Steve, yes, obviously you do need to wear stupid hats and be a millionaire. BTW, I tried to comment on your site cause I know you love comments too but it wouldn't let me!!! Just cause I'm not a xanga member... damn exclusive racist clubs...
I think I'm glad you're not Cho Chang. Because in the fourth book, she just led Harry on, and that's just no good making the good guy jealous.
