Wahoo am I excited for my cooking classes at Institute for Culinary Education! Taking Techniques for Fine Cooking I, Asian-Inspired Desserts, and Souffles. This is really going to help me with writing about food... once I know the terms and have worked intimately with the techniques, it should be a lot easier to describe entrees.
Heard from the ESC* recently and each time, I am struck by how different our lives are--he is working, pursuing his dream, while I am at college, following the well-beaten path. It makes it difficult to converse, at times, but hopefully he'll be coming to New York in July and then we can hang out. *=elementary school crush
Maybe it's me being extremely vain, but before I looked down at the asterisk, I thought to myself you talked to ESC (my initials)??? Umm, don't we talk all the time? And then I read the side note...and needless to say, I laughed :)
